Project Description
The first edition of the United 4 Change – Program for Young Political Activists was held in May 2021. It was aimed at shaping the public debate on youth activism in the OSCE partner countries. United 4 Change was dedicated to 14 participants – civic activists, young journalists, promising politicians and representatives of NGOs from 12 countries. It was organized in cooperation with the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in Warsaw, Poland.
The participants met online between May 18 – 21, 2021 to have a series of talks and lectures with civil servants, representatives of NGOs, experts, and journalists. They discussed issues of democratization in Europe and around the world, leadership and challenges in the 21st century, corruption and how to fight it, and introduction of democratic values in authoritarian and totalitarian countries. The participants have engaged in conversations around the topics and coming from a number of countries, they have also shared their regional experience.
