The 17 participants of the V4 in Europe program met in Warsaw on 12 – 14 November 2017 for their first workshop session. During 3 days of intense courses they discussed the main challenges faced by the European Union today and the role of the Visgerad countries in the future development of the block. They specially focused on the most controversial topics: Brexit, consequences of the financial crises, possibility of multi-speed Union, relationship with Russia and US, as well as many others. In addition, the group from Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia attended a public speaking workshop, to help them prepare for the next parts of the program: acting as panelists during international conferences and disseminating their knowledge among youth.The
The V4 in Europe group will meet in January in Cracow, to take part in the and in June in Warsaw, to summarize their experience with the program. Between the two sessions each of the participants will organize at least 2 lessons in schools for pupil aged 16 – 18. During these meetings they will discuss the role of the Visegrad countries in the EU.
